M42 - Bright Nebula (Great Nebula) with Trapezium NGC 1977 - Nebula / Open Cluster (Running Man Nebula) Algol - Variable Star (Eclipsing Binary) Variable Stars Photometric Monitoring - Variables - RX And, Z And, TT Ari, CI Cyg, SS Cyg, BL Lac, TZ Lyr Attempts: U And failed (wind), CY Lyr failed (wind/poor sky), GK Per failed (Cloud)
Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - Ross 248 (HH And), 6Groombridge 34, Teegardens Star
Attempts: 61 Cyg failed (poor sky),
- Late Evening session (4.8 hrs duration).
Good seeing- Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.
(Power-Line networking)- Ambient Temperature: 0.5 deg C (minimum) - CCD operation -30 degC (at 75% average cooling). - main objectives of the session were to perform further software testing and to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis, and to image a number of deep sky objects. Opportunity taken to acquire a follow-up image of Comet ISON (C/2012 S1) -
