Objects Session Notes
Jupiter & moons Photometric Monitoring - Variables - CI Cyg, SS Cyg
- SS Her attempt (failed due to poor transparency/cloud)Photometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - None -
- Short Night time session (1.1 hrs). Cut short by increasing cloud cover / deteriorating sky transparency. - Operated in observatory under semi-automated control - Ambient Temperature 14.5 deg C - CCD operation -20 degC (at 89% average cooling). - main objective was to test recent software updates including autosaving focus profile graphs(.gif file formats) - secondary objective of the session was to acquire images of key selected stars for ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis.
