M31 part (Andromeda)
An extragalactic nova (M31 2006 14) was discovered in M31 on 2006/11/25.468
by Koichi Itagak, with an apparent magnitude of +17.5 
(Extragalactic Novae page at Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image | Reference: 2006-11a)

Image below (2006-12-15.82) shows that nova object (shown by white marker) 
Estimated magnitude +17.1 . Limiting Mag +17.5

2006sr was discovered 2006/12/12.95 by Doug Rich

Image below (2006-12-15.84) was taken 3 days after discovery. 
Estimated magnitude of 2006sr  is  >+16.5 (C filter).
