- CCD operation of -20 degC (at 77% cooling)

M31 - Attempted Observation of Extragalactic Nova : M31 2006 12

M31 part (Andromeda)
An extragalactic nova (M31 2006 12) was discovered in M31 on 2006/10/31.09
by University of Texas & Koichi Itagaki (ATEL 927)
with an apparent magnitude of +17.5 
(Extragalactic Novae page at Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image 1 | Discovery Image 2)

Image below (2006-11-06.81) was taken 6.3/4 days after discovery.
Possible faint sign of an object  is seen at the recorded position of 
the recorded nova indicated by centre of white circle. (Image mag limit c. +18.7)
Two globular clusters in M31 are indicated with white markers
313-036 (catalog mag +16.4) & 413-D028 (catalog mag +18.6)
