CCD Image of Moon showing Mare Tranquillitatis (The Sea of Tranquility)

Mare Serenitatis (Sea of Serenity) lies to the north, whilst Mare Vaporum (Sea of Vapours) lies to the north-east. The two bright craters between Serenitatis and Vaporum are Menelaus (diam 32 km) and Manilius (diam 36 km)
