- Late evening session. Very good sky conditions and no wind. Session ended when observatory laptop hung in mid session - reason unknown.
- Session parts operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.   
- Ambient Temperature: -3 deg C (minimum) 
- CCD operation -30 degC (at 61% average cooling).  
- main objective of the session was to acquire images of distant quasar QSO APM 08279 +05255 (redshift, z= 3.87) and images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric analysis

QSO APM 08279 +5255 (Lynx)  
Quasar is marked by white cross-hairs. Estimated magnitude +15.7 

Only discovered in 1998, it is very remote object with catalog redshift of 3.87

Four or five foreground galaxies are visible in same image. These include 
PGC 2423692 (catalog mag +17.3) & PGC 2421539 (catalog mag +17.3)
