Galaxy Trio - M105, NGC 3384, NGC 3389 M105 - Elliptical Galaxy NGC 3384 - Elliptical Galaxy NGC 3389 - Spiral Galaxy Photometric Monitoring - Variables - HR Aur, R CrB, U Gem, DY Per, GK Per
KR Aur (fail to find Variable)Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars Gliese 412, Groombrdige 1830, Lalande 21185 xx (failed due to sky/cloud)
- Session using 12" LX200R scope, after its return from warranty repair
- Evening session (7.4 hrs), clear & frosty - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. - Ambient Temperature: -3 deg C (minimum) - CCD operation -30 degC (at 58% average cooling). - main objectives of the session was to bring back 12" LX200 back into action following its warranty repair.
- Polar Alignment Tuning
- PEC re-training
- Focus Offsets- additional objectives of the session was to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis - Notes from 2010-02-17
