C/2007 N3 (Lulin) - Comet Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
W And, CN Ori, CZ Ori, FO Or, FU Ori attempts (failed as filter wheel was not defined/did not operate, all images were with C Filter)
- Evening session (4.7 hrs), operated largely under automated control - Ambient Temperature 5 deg C - CCD operation -25 degC (at 84% average cooling). - main objective was to acquire images of comet Lulin which is making closest approach to Earth on Feb 24/25th. - secondary objective of the session was to acquire images of key selected stars for ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis. -
