Objects Session Notes
Comet C/2007 B2 (Skiff) PGC 29488 / Leo I - local group galaxy M67 - open cluster M87 - Elliptical Galaxy / Jet NGC 4567/4568 - spiral galaxies (Siamese Pair) NGC 5394/5395, ARP 84 ("Heron") Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- U Gem (dwarf nova)
- KR Aur, AQ CMi, CV CMi, SY Cnc, U Mon (variables)- Wolf 359 attempt (but images couldn't link)
- Late Evening session (3.3hr).
Temperature +0.8 degC, later rising to +2.5 degC- CCD operation of -25 degC
(at 69% average cooling).- main objective was to acquire images of certain selected stars for ongoing photometric analysis, in particular U Gem & RX And. - opportunity was also taken to acquire a number of gallery images of specific ARP galaxies .
