Ross 248 (HH And) - Nearby Star

- Evening session (1.2hr). Cold. Poor sky conditions. Cloud rapidly developing
- CCD operation of -30 degC (at 80% average cooling). 
- main objective was to acquire images of certain selected stars of ongoing photometric analysis, in particular SS Cyg and RX And

Ross 248 (HH And) - Nearby Star

Ross 248 / HH And (Andromeda)
Regular astrometric measurements of Ross 248 record cyclic motion
resulting from combination of proper motion and parallax.
Ross 248 lies around 10.3 light years from the sun.  
It is a main sequence red dwarf and is variable in brightness.
