Objects Session Notes
UGC 466 - Spiral Galaxy
8P/Tuttle - Comet
2005 WJ56 - Near Earth Asteroid (NEA) / Minor Planet
Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- SS Cyg, RU Peg (dwarf nova)
- BL Lac (Blazar)
- DY Per, M33 var83 (variables)
- Z And, TT Ari, TZ Lyr (variables)

- attempt to image  KR Aur unsuccessful due to cloud

- Evening session (3.9hr),  good conditions to begin, but cloud rapidly covered the entire sky after 3 hours forcing a premature abandonment of the session.  Some software problems 15 minutes into session causing outage for 30-40 mins.
- CCD operation of -25 degC (at 65% average cooling).
- main objectives were to acquire images of certain selected stars of ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis, in particular Z And and RU Peg
- opportunity was taken to acquire images of comet 8P/Tuttle, a passing NEA (2005 WJ56) and UGC 466 to compare against earlier images of UGC 466 with SN 2007L acquired approximately one year ago
