MPL 2003 EL61 - Kuiper Belt Object / Dwarf Planet
(now known as 136108 Haumea)Orion
- 1.0 hr session. Snow showers. Sky conditions deteriorating after 45 mins - CCD operation of -25 degC (at 64% average cooling). . - main objective was to acquire follow up images of KBO 2003 EL61 and confirm movement of the Kuiper Belt Object against background star - secondary objective of acquire images for ongoing photometric and astrometric monitoring of the selected stars was not achieved due to developing cloud - More Notes -
