Objects Session Notes
Groombridge 1830 - Nearby star Barnard's Star U Her - Mira variable
- 40 min session, cut short by rapidly developing cloud - CCD operation of -15 degC - main objectives where to acquire images as part of ongoing project on nearby stars and specific variables, in the event only 3 targets were imaged before cloud forced the session to end. - More Notes
Astrometric measurements made, as part of a ongoing study to attempt to measure proper
motion and annual parallax of Groombridge 1830.
