NGC 3953 - Spiral Galaxy & Supernova 2006bp

NGC 3953 (Ursa Major) with SN 2006bp
2006bp was discovered 2006/04/09.60 by Koichi Itagaki
(Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image | Reference Image)

Image below (2006-05-10.954) was taken 32 days after discovery.
Estimated magnitude of 2006bp  is  +14.5 (C filter).

M100 - Spiral Galaxy & Supernova 2006x

M100 (Ursa Major) with SN 2006x
2006x was discovered 2006/02/04
by Shoji Suzuki; M. Migliardi (CROSS)
(Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image | Discovery Image 2 | Reference Image)

Image below (2006-05-10.966) was taken 95 days after discovery.
SN 2006x seems to be still visible, Thin cloud prevented getting image of sufficient quality for photometry.

Note satellite track which was recorded in one of the contributing frames
