This imaging session was of approximately 4.1/2 hours duration of which the central portion ran mainly unattended under script control. A number of check visits were made to the observatory to check progress and to add additional targets to the target program. This was achieved without having to pause or restart the script operation. A total of 283 CCD Images were taken as part of the scripted operation covering the following tasks :
Images of 19 variables in constellations And, Peg & Lac
Images of 16 variable stars in constellations Cam, Per & Tau
Images of 10 variable stars in constellations Aur, Gem, Mon & Cnc
Mosaics of M42/M43 Nebula, NGC 2024
Attempted images of comets P/1986 A1 (Shoemaker) and C/2001 HT50
Images of Abell 407, NGC 2261, 2264, 2392, UGC 4047
Attempted images of UGC 5829
In addition to the above images of Horsehead and Crab Nebula (M1), Jupiter and Saturn were acquired under manual control.
Minor problems encountered during scripted operation were :
Some of the star targets in Lacerta whilst still above the lower limit line (which is defined on visibility restrictions relating to observatory walls and nearby house roofs, did bring the dew shield into contact with the roof of the observatory. Due shield is of soft foam and easily gave way. Intervention required to adjust it for following targets.
Re-occurence of problem which causes Telescope to sometimes fail to slew in Dec, causing certain frames in Mosaic to be missed. Problem repeated exactly when script told to rerun missed points.

Variables in Pegasus, Andromeda, Lacerta, Auriga, Gemini, Cancer, Camelopardalis, Perseus and Taurus were imaged using Automated Scripting (see Scripting and Light Curves)
